The Usefulness of Sports Betting Blog to Hone Your Betting Skill

A sports betting blog would have added some spice to the already contentious rivalry of the Miami Heat and the New York Knicks in the 1990′s. A sports betting blog could have discussed things like how many blocks per game Alonzo Mourning would have averaged as he was playing against the Knicks in Madison Square Garden. A sports betting blog also could have kept track of home rebounds Larry Johnson would have gotten per game against the Miami Heat in American Airlines Arena. A sports betting blog could have showed you how to wager upon exactly how many three pointers Allan Houston was going to make per game. A sports betting blog also could have simply let you pick the winners and losers of the Heat-Knicks games within the playoff series that they faced each other in.

A sports betting blog can be discouraged by people like NBA Commissioner David Stern, but his objections to these sports betting blogs simply just have the effect of drawing more people’s

The History of Deion Sanders

The History of Deion Sanders

Blessed with athletic ability few humans can match, Deion Sanders is one of sports record over-achievers. Born in the State of Florida on 9 August 1967, Sanders excelled in three sports while in high school: basketball, baseball, and football. While attending the State University of Florida, he dropped basketball to participate in track and field. He aided in winning the state conference championship for his track team, at the same time stealing plenty of bases on the baseball diamond. Nevertheless, it is on the football field that Deion Sanders really stood out. All this is according to the Deion Sanders biography/history available from many sources.

Deion was awarded the consensus All-American Title twice, the Jim Thorpe award, fourteen interceptions in his career and won the Sugar bowl with his team in 1988. In addition to stunning defense, he was excellent at punt returning. He is the finest punt returner in Florida State history, and led the

4 Enormous Seasons for the New York Giants and the Big Apple

This lower body lift is a compliment to the running from part 1. In the weight room we super setted power cleans with squats which means one set of cleans then one set of squats. I do 6 x 6 reps of each lift with a 3 minute rest in between. To me these are the most important lifts for a football player because they help make you a more explosive player.

4 Enormous Seasons for the New York Giants and the Big Apple

For over 80 years, the New York Giants have represented the Big Apple, in a big way. Since 1925, the team has played in five stadiums, won three Super Bowls, had 27 pro football Hall of Famers, and retired 11 players’ jersey numbers. There have been several memorable moments in over eight decades of Giants history. While it is quite difficult to define ONE as most memorable, several of them are certainly noteworthy:

1. 1925 Season

According to reliable sources, Tim Mara bought the Giants for 0. Mara was a businessperson and promoter. At the time, the NFL (and subsequently the Giants themselves) was struggling. However, the Giants encountered a huge turning point during their first season. On December 11th, the Giants faced the Chicago Bears. Roughly 70,000 fans watched the game live! The Giants would split a two-game series with the Bears, ending the season with a record of 8-4.

2. 1986 Season

NFL Power Rankings Week 14 – New Orleans Saints Remain on The Top

NFL Power Rankings Week 14 – Top 32 NFL Football Teams

All Saints Day came this past Sunday for Who Dat? nation. New Orleans pulled off an unimaginable comeback win and remain the NFL’s cream of the crop. For the ninth straight week the Saints own the No. 1 spot and the Colts are No. 2 in WEEI’s NFL Power Rankings. The teams in this week’s Top 5 stay the same — however the Chargers jumped ahead of the Bengals one spot after their seventh-straight win.

The Patriots dropped to their lowest spot all year after another poor second-half performance against the Dolphins. Tom Brady and crew sit at No. 12 and hope to bounce back at home Sunday against a poor Carolina team. The Patriots have been terrible on the road, and with that loss to Miami they’ve all but eliminated themselves from getting a first-round bye.

As for some other notables, the Super Bowl XLIII champion Pittsburgh Steelers plummet two more spots and now are looking up from No.

Oakland Raiders to Watch for Weekly Fantasy Football Leagues

Oakland Raiders to Watch for Weekly Fantasy Football Leagues

The Raiders went 5-11 in 2009, just a hair better than Kansas City.
The Raiders’ offense was, well, horrible. Out of the 32 teams in the NFL, Oakland ranked 31st in total yards per game with 266.1.
Oakland’s defense was better, coming in at No. 26, allowing 361.9 yards per game.

Key Draft Picks to Watch for Weekly Fantasy Football Leagues :
Rolando McClain: McClain will offer the Raiders’ defense a huge boost. Out of Alabama, McClain can do it all, whether it be blitzing or short-coverage assignments from his LB spot. His only weakness is his lacking ability in man coverage. Look for him on special teams while competing for starting time.

Lamarr Houston: Oakland is strengthening their defense, especially with DT Houston from Texas. Houston has great strength, and can be useful as an up-field rusher. At times, he’s inconsistent with anchoring the middle of the defensive line. All in all, a solid pick.

SKINS FIGHT SONG FOR THE SAINTS

The Most-Watched Sports Events of All Time

Americans have a reputation for knowing how to work hard and play hard. When it comes to sports, though, it seems that the lines between work and play become slightly blurred, as most Americans take their sport of choice as seriously as any job – faithfully tuning in to game after game on the radio and cable TV, though eventually upgrading their television sets and broadcasting systems to enable all of their favorite team’s matches and insider info in high definition via satellite TV, and of course schlepping the whole family and then some to weekend matches, tailgating included of course.

So what happens when a favorite sports team makes it to their league’s final match, competing for the top coveted position of best in the game? These sports fans go ballistic. But getting your hands on tickets for the playoffs and championship games in any sport is next to impossible. So fans tune in, like clockwork, on their TVs. And tune in they do. Read on for a

The Rain Maker Sports: Sports Bytes – May 10, 2010

So much for the exciting, barn-burner I expected from Saturday’s Paul Williams-Kermit Cintron bout. Midway through round four, after an uneventful first three rounds, the two fighters tangled their feet and fell. Williams landed on the canvas; Cintron sailed through the ropes and out of the ring, banging his head first on an HBO television monitor and then on the concrete floor. The ringside doctor recommended that the bout be stopped, and after the referee made the stoppage official, Cintron was carried to the hospital on a stretcher with his head supported by a neck brace . . . Was I watching HBO’s “World Championship Boxing” or a replay of “Monday Night Raw”? . . . Cintron’s promoter was understandably upset when he learned that Paul Williams would be granted a technical decision victory because he was ahead on two of the judges’ scorecards at the time of the stoppage. According to California rules, which are ridiculous, as long as round four has started the fight

BetRepublic.com NFL Power Rankings

Any given Sunday was the case last week in the NFL, as the Oakland Raiders, Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals all sent the mighty tumbling to the mat. And Washington probably should have beat the Saints, but the outcome of that game epitomizes the “day late, dollar short” story that will cap Jim Zorn’s short career once the season is over.

The Bengals strengthened their foothold in the top five of our rankings, but the next two weeks (at Minnesota, at San Diego) will show us Cincinnati’s real playoff potential.

Check BetRepublic.com for tons of free picks each week and our innovative sports betting TV show every day.

Week 14 NFL Power Rankings

1. New Orleans Saints –WR Robert Meachem averaging one TD per game in last five and the strip-score vs. Redskins was testament to mentality of Sean Payton’s team. There is no quit.

2. Indianapolis Colts – Key
